Foundations Pre-College Program

Assumption College is offering a five-day, residential program in June 2016 for high school juniors who are about to become seniors. We believe in the liberal arts (and so does one of our generous donors), which means this week-long program only costs $200. Students will:

  • Engage in classroom discussions with Assumption faculty
  • Visit the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, MA
  • Live in a college residence hall with Resident Advisors (RAs) and eat in the dining hall
  • Meet other high school students from across the country

Dates: June 19 - 24, 2016
Deadline for application:  March 4, 2016

Student Testimonials
“What I liked most about this program was that I actually felt that I was in college. I learned to manage my time by myself with the activities, hanging out with my friends and attending to all the lectures.”

“The Assumption pre-college summer program was one of the most enjoyable weeks I have ever had in my life. In this week you get to meet new kids your age, who come from different walks of life. This week will help you figure out what you enjoy most about your academics. It will also help you in deciding which type of college you will want to attend in the future.”

“The Foundations Summer Program was a week of intense learning and fun. The camp challenges students to open their horizons within Western Civilization. I met great friends, and by the end of the week, I did not want to leave.”
