Julie Beck: Like the Old Masters…Only Better

Julie Beck is a classically trained visual artist who uses technique, dramatic color, purposeful design, and complex narrative to confront an audience. Whether poetic or polemical, her work strives to leave an impact on viewers that leaves them asking questions about the connections we find around ourselves. This lecture will present some significant works and explain why they needed to be made, how the final design was determined, and if it was successful or not.
