Don’t Wait for FAFSA Delays – Secure Your Financial Aid Early!

We know delays in the U.S. Department of Education’s FAFSA rollout can be stressful. With AU Early Financial Aid, you don’t have to wait. Starting October 1st, applicants can complete last year’s FAFSA (2024-2025) and receive an early financial aid offer from us – weeks before other colleges and universities can even begin. We’ll also honor the early financial aid offer once you file your 2025-2026 FAFSA. Simply follow these steps to lock in your financial aid:

  1. Complete the AU Early Financial Aid form to indicate you wish to receive an early financial aid offer
  2. Complete the 2024-25 FAFSA (Assumption federal school code: 002118)

What if my federal financial aid package changes after I complete the 2025-26 FAFSA?

Assumption University is committed to honoring the value of your scholarship funds. So even if your final federal and/or state scholarship funds change, Assumption is committed to guaranteeing your total scholarship funding from your AU Early Financial Aid offer* (not to exceed Assumption’s tuition costs for 2025-2026).

*This guarantee does not apply to the Assumption Access Promise program.  Students eligible for this program must meet all the required criteria including demonstrating Federal Pell Grant eligibility from the 2025-2026 FAFSA.

Why don’t I just wait to file the 2025-26 FAFSA to receive my full financial aid?

Completing the AU Early Financial Aid form and the 2024-25 FAFSA is not required of applicants, however with delays currently postponing the release of the 2025-26 FAFSA, this opportunity will offer you accelerated access to your financial aid information that you can use to better inform your college decision.
