Assumption will host an evening with Dr. Charles Steinberg, President of the Worcester Red Sox. Titled, “Baseball and Other Games,” Dr. Charles will reflect on how baseball is more than just a game—it is a sport, a form of leisure, a business, and an institution that both expresses and influences American culture.
Author, Bill Roorbach will be discussing and reading from his latest novel, Beep, about a juvenile Costa Rican squirrel monkey who sets off on a quest that takes him from the jungles of Central America to New York City.
