Memorial Mass for Nalin Ranasinghe

Please join members of the Assumption community as we gather at 5pm, on November 8^th to celebrate a Memorial Mass for former philosophy professor, Nalin Ranasinghe, in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit. We will then gather at 7pm, for a lecture by Roger Crisp, Professor of Moral Philosophy at Oxford University (UK), who will deliver a lecture on “The Soul of Socrates” (this was the title of Nalin’s first book) in Ballroom B in Tsotsis. Prof. Crisp will be introduced by Predrag Cicovacki (College of the Holy Cross), who will also offer some reflections on Nalin’s philosophy. The lecture will be followed by a reception with refreshments in Ballroom A.
