The Mountain and The Porcupine

Oct. 13, 2021
11:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Online via Zoom

Artist Anne Harris ’12, who was recently named One to Watch among MFA graduates by the Boston Globe, will discuss her work during a virtual HumanArts Lecture on October 13 at 7 p.m. Harris will  lecture about her personal connection to her artwork and about dedicating her work to a place-based, art making practice. Her work has led to her to a collaboration with the more-than-human world, including a mountain and a porcupine. She will be showing a combination of painting, performance, video, outdoor video installation, and photography created with the sites she worked with, in particular Mount Greylock, located in Williamstown, and the Porcupine Forest, located in Worcester.
