Assumption Marketing Program Earns Top Rating

Study.com has recognized Assumption’s marketing program as one of the top in the country in the recently released 50 Best Marketing Schools ranking. According to Study.com, Assumption’s marketing program ranked in the top half in the nation for its emphasis on ethically responsible business practices and global perspective on marketing. The program also ranked highly for requiring an internship in the major, providing a hands-on learning experience. 

“Assumption’s marketing program targets contemporary issues and builds on the connection of experiential learning, giving students the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom to real-life situations,” said Joseph Foley, chair of the Business Studies department, adding that a new digital marketing concentration features digital marketing strategies, social media marketing, digital analytics and mobile marketing. “Experiential learning assures all students will have the opportunity to complete internships and marketing projects in partnership with business corporations and non-profit organizations.”

According to the ranking organization, Study.com calculates each school’s ranking based on data provided by the Department of Education, including specific factors that allow the program stand out among its peers. 

Assumption offers marketing programs for both undergraduates and graduates. The institution’s marketing major is comprised of classes covering business, accounting and statistics, as well as an in-depth study of marketing topics such as marketing management, advertising, consumer behavior, public relations, sports marketing, and marketing on the internet.
