Hound of the Week: Catherine Harvey ’20

Congratulations to our next Hound of the Week, Catherine Harvey ’20!, A double major in secondary education and mathematics from Albany, NY, Catherine’s goal is to complete a 5th year at Assumption to earn her masters in special education. On-campus, Catherine is the cheerleading team’s captain, a member of the honors program, a staff member at Plourde, a part of the Mathematics Honors Society and has been selected to be a mentor for the Leadership in Teaching Program. Catherine also enjoys participating in multiple community service events held around the Worcester area. “Through excellent professors, a variety of field experience and honors thesis research, I have learned how I can promote a growth mindset in my future classroom to help my students excel in all aspects of their life.”
