Hound of the Week: James Randall ’21
Congratulations to our next Hound of the Week, James Randall ’21! James is a psychology major from Walpole, MA who chose to study at Assumption because along with strong academics, it shared his values for experiential learning and community service opportunities. Randall is the Vice President for the junior class in Student Government Association, Co-President for the Best Buddies chapter, and captain of the men’s basketball team. Aside from staying busy on campus, James partakes in community service opportunities off-campus as a light the way scholar. “I love being involved on and off-campus because I feel that community is important. I am also passionate about the activities I take part in such as Best Buddies, because of all the good that comes out of it!” James is passionate about supporting and advocating for individuals with disabilities. “I feel it is important to make sure that they are able to have the same opportunities as anyone else.” Assumption has impacted James’ life by providing him with opportunities to contribute to his community which is what he is most proud of today.
