Hound of the Week: Lily O’Connor ’21

Lily O’Connor, ’21

Lily is extremely involved on campus, being a member of the Women’s Rowing team, SGA and an Orientation Leader. Lily has been able to accomplish a great deal in her short two years on campus because of the doors Assumption was able to open for her. Through the support of her peers in the Student Government Association, Lily joined the Worcester Student Government Association (WSGA), which has allowed her to meet with SGA students from each college in Worcester to start initiatives and help solve problems across campuses. Lily has been able to speak at the State House and meet with leaders from the Paw Sox about The 2021 planning of Polar Park for the Worcester Red Sox as a member of WSGA. In the future, Lily would like to pursue a career in Law. She feels as though her experiences at Assumption have set her up for success in her future endeavors.
