Professor Toran has been providing behavior analytic services to children and adults with developmental disabilities since 1996. Her clinical expertise includes feeding treatments, generalization and maintenance of learned skills, assessment and treatment of severe challenging behavior, case management, and staff training. Her research interests are in the areas of social behavior in children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, teaching for generalization, and transition planning. Her research has been published in Behavioral Interventions and the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and she has presented research papers at regional and national conferences. Professor Toran is a Program Director at the New England Center for Children, a doctoral candidate in Behavior Analysis at Western New England University, and serves on the board of the Association for Behavior Analysis and Therapy (BABAT).
