Stephanie Murin is currently the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions at Assumption University. Stephanie oversee the Special Education program as well as all of the Helping Professions (School Counseling, Clinical Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis, Resiliency in the Helping Professions, and Special Ops: Service Members, Veterans, and their Families). For the past year and a half, she worked in the undergraduate admissions office, where her territories included Southern Worcester County, MA Catholic Schools, and RI Catholic Schools. She was also one of the coordinators of the Dual Enrollment Program and was the admissions liaison for the Honors Program. Stephanie worked closely with Katie Moulton, Dean of Enrollment, to develop partnerships between AU and Worcester County high schools, as well. Prior to working at AU, she was an elementary special education teacher for six years, teaching second grade in the Spencer-East Brookfield Regional School District for three years followed by another three years working in kindergarten to fourth grade in the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District. Stephanie primarily worked with students who had ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, developmental delays, and social-emotional challenges.

  • Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Elementary Education. I then went on to obtain my Master’s in Special Education from the University of Rhode Island in 2015.
