Excursions around Rome and Italy
Travel is a fully integrated aspect of the academic program, complementing coursework with irreplaceable first-hand experience. The city and the country becomes your classroom. The curriculum includes weekly excursions to museums and monuments within the city and surrounding countryside, including, for example, Ostia Antica, Tivoli Gardens, Castel Gandolfo or Subiaco. Every semester, students and faculty also engage in longer, overnight programs to significant Italian cities, such as Florence, Urbino, Pompeii and Naples. These extended visits are included within the Rome Campus tuition and are an integrated part of the curriculum.
