Assumption Ranked One of the Best Regional Universities and Best Catholic Colleges for 2018

A new college ranking entity, College Consensus, has included Assumption in its survey of the Best Regional Universities – North and one of its Best Catholic Colleges for 2018. College Consensus reviewed ranking criteria from a number of various entities as well as student reviews.

According to Managing Editor Carrie Sealey-Morris, the best colleges are “doing the hard work of building an educated workforce, whether it’s certificate programs or pre-professional degrees” and as a top Catholic college, Assumption’s “inclusion in the list shows that [it is] making an impact on students that will have a transformative effect on their lives, and the lives of others.” 

College Consensus weighs a number of criteria when developing its rankings such as the size of the school – with a preference on smaller populations; offering undergraduate and graduate programs, and a focus on key disciplines such teaching, management, criminology and more.
