Hound of the Week: Chloe Amour ’21

Congratulations to our next hound oft week, Chloe Amour ‘21! Chloe is a double major in secondary education and history from Holden, MA. She’s involved in a variety of activities on campus which include: Resident Assistant in Worcester Hall, SGA Class Vice President, CAB Executive Chairperson for 2019-2020, Pup Cup Chairperson 2019 and a student worker in the D’Alzon Library, Admissions House, and Office of Student Activities. Chloe also volunteers weekly at the Reach Out Center, while also attending SEND Trips and even partaking in the SOPHIA Program. “Being immersed in the community has promoted growth in my self I could never have imagined prior to coming to AC. My leadership abilities and confidence have grown tremendously in just two years. I have the incredible support from my role models on campus to thank for that. Their encouragement has pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and now, I strive to make that difference for others in my community. Encouraging others to get involved, find their place, and leave their mark on campus is what I strive to do each and every day.”

Chloe is most passionate about making a positive impact on Assumption’s campus. By being an RA and working with CAB and SGA, Chloe is able to work closely with her peers and bring people together and make this small community feel like a home away from home. “Assumption has found such a special place in my heart. I would not be the same person if it weren’t for the people I have met, who have shaped me into the person I am today. The opportunities I have been given at Assumption have made my college experience great so far, and I can’t wait to see what else will come my way.”
