Hound of the Week: Emily Norman ’20

Congratulations to our next Hound of the Week, Emily Norman ’20! A Neuroscience major from Chelmsford, MA, Emily chose to study at Assumption because she felt a strong sense of community. “ I did not want to feel like just a number and at Assumption I knew I would be able to form long-lasting relationships with friends and Faculty.” On campus, Emily is involved in Science Club, is a head tutor at the Academic Support Center, and a member of the Cross Country and Track and Field team. “Being involved on campus allows me to get to know people and learn from them.” Emily is passionate about science and running, and has been able to explore these passions deeper through the opportunities afforded to her through her time here at Assumption. “Assumption has given me so many opportunities I never thought I could have had. I have been fortunate to have done research for 3 summers as well as be involved in conferences and poster presentations. The people here have always been so kind to me and some of the relationships I have formed here are going to last a very long time. Assumption has helped me grow as a student and a person.”
