Travel Tuesday: Francesca DePergola ’20

Meet Francesca DePergola ’20, a psychology major with minors in human services and theology. When Francesca first entered college at Assumption, she heard about the opportunity of the Rome campus and knew she had to take advantage. “Ever since I was young, traveling to Europe, especially Italy, was always a dream of mine.” Francesca had never traveled outside of the US and had only traveled by plane twice. “Studying abroad has made me want to step outside of my comfort zone and see more of the world. I also have family in Italy, and my father was born in Bari, Italy, so it’s fascinating to see where he was born.” Francesca credits the Rome campus for giving her the experience of a lifetime. “I can honestly say I am living the dream!”
